gparted not running in ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

i have headache using ubuntu.
i can't run gparted with every method i know.


this is run from terminal.
$ sudo gparted
Unit -.mount does not exist, proceeding anyway.

(gpartedbin:24043): Gtk-WARNING **: 00:14:50.584: cannot open display: :1

can someone explain to me what does this means ? with the error prompt above ?

It might be a Wayland issue but I'm not sure.

What is the output of:

dpkg -L gparted
