I agree! We are also in 'member introductions', so it's not too bad.
The math of the code breakers was insane. The math behind the enigma was also impressive. Politics and sexuality are generally off-topic here, so I'll just add that one might want to look into one Mr. Alan Turing's post-war experiences.
I can give you a little anecdote about the Turing family today. I was in discussion with James Turing about Ghana; this was a few years back. I had integrated paypal php restApi into a web. I got James Turing to buy something from the web to check it worked. Subsequently, i met his mother and a brother physically in Ghana , they were doing some pro-mo for an education project. It soon became apparent that none of them could code a "jot" . So that surviving line had none of the genes ALan had, unfortunately .

Let's just say he didn't pass his genetics along.

I think a more interesting lineage is in his academic career. Look into (Wikipedia will have their names) his grad students. Several of whom are quite notable.
