Grub launcher menu suddenly stopped working for dual boot machine

Hi,

I successfully installed Pop OS on my windows Huawei matebook x computer. I set up the grub launcher to load on every boot, to select either Pop OS or windows 10. However, suddenly the grub launcher failed on boot and now it only shows a grub console screen.

If I quickly click f12 on boot, I still manage to skip the grub launcher and launch EUFI instead, so all good there. Bot Windows 10 and Pop OS works as it should.

But I want my grub launcher menu back! Where I can select either Pop OS or Windows on every boot without clicking f12 like crazy!

Any good ideas?

Well, I have ideas, but I don't know how "good" they are!

Windows 10 updates have a tendency to break things. Things like the Grub boot loader.

When booted into Pop OS! you could try running "update-grub" (with administrator privileges).
