Hello, so I am trying to get my Gtx 1060 drivers to work. I'm not sure why they aren't working, i have secure boot turned off.. All i did was install a custom kernel called xanmod. I heard its a good custom kernel so i want to try it out, but everytime install it just makes my nvidia drivers not load... Any help ?
My screen is also supper stretched out, my gpu fans are ramping up to max, and trying to run anything 3D for example blender, it just lags alot... The only fix i know is deleting that custom kernel or using the one i had installed before xanmod... But i want to use xanmod, any ideas on how to fix this ?

Which Linux Distro are you Using? We need to know in order to help. it is most likely that you'll have to build the driver for the newer kernel.

How did you install the Nvidia drivers?
