hello friends, i am with linux mint, butable, on my pc, how do i install my epson printer
This statement is confusing to me.This environment can often prevent the installation of drivers that could be easily installed if the distribution is actually installed to a hard drive.
It may be worth noting the OP's other thread here

The OP is using a USB stick with persistence.

-> Why would it matter which drive is used to boot the operating system when managing printer drivers?
Source https://www.howtogeek.com/14912/create-a-persistent-bootable-ubuntu-usb-flash-drive/There are a few limitations. You can’t modify system files, like the kernel. You can’t perform major system upgrades. You also can’t install hardware drivers. However, you can install most applications. You can even update most installed applications, so you can be sure your persistent USB drive has the latest version of the web browser you prefer.

E.g. it can then run the Geforce graphics card using NVidia’s own driver - a whole lot more performance that the one-size-fits-all driver in a live installation.
No need. Until now, I did not realize that persistence and a full install are different. (I always have booted external drives with full installs (or installers), never a "persistent" system.I'll come back to that on my tomorrow, have to sign off shortly.
I'll leave a couple of links that may assist in the meantime, on Persistence compared to full install.
