I am trying to install lubuntu on a lenovo thinkpad x140e, but the erase disk prompt doesn't show up in the installation. I have q4os installed on it at this time, and would like to erase. When I installed q4os the installation gave me the prompt then, but now not sure of problem. Thanks, Dean.

G'day Dean, and Welcome to Linux.org

In the normal course of an installation, any existing OS on the drive will be wiped off by the new installation.

Hi, I don't mind wiping the existing os, but the erase disk prompt doesn't show up in the installation.

personally I would continue and wait for the outcome.

It really cannot do any harm

Lubuntu 20.04.2, not sure about boot priority in bios is setup right.

That's pretty large text!

You don't have this screen:

Sorry about the text, I was pasting from another document. That is exactly how it should show, but the erase disk feature doesn't appear?

What is it showing? What is showing when you use the drop-down menu at the top (next to which it says "MBR")?

Can you get a screenshot of this? (I don't normally want screenshots, but this is a good time for one.)
