Help linux 18.04 very slow

just put 18.04 on my laptop and i am struggling too get any better than 240p on any site also it will just freeze and forces me too crash the system, i am not clued up on computers so any advise will be appreciated thanks

You should Use "Ubuntu mate".
I think you Computern isn't good enaught to run the full gnome Desktop.

Welcome to Linux.org forums.

Open the terminal.

To open the terminal lower left corner of desktop are nine white dots click on them and look for terminal and click on it.

Copy and paste this command to the terminal.

inxi -Fxz

Copy and paste the output to a post.

The same problem I had too. And I just leave it.
Now I use Manjaro, because this distribution is less demanding.
