HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Agreed, KDE is a RAM hog and OP has an Atom Processor.
Well, in the past I'd have agreed with that statement but I've been using Q4OS for like 3 months or so, the KDE version and on boot RAM usage is around 350mb, and it's installed in a USB stick!! It runs pretty fast too, considering. I'm writing this from it; chromium + 3 tabs open, cmus running in the terminal, dolphin and claws-mail: RAM usage is around 950mb. Yeah, I know most of these apps are really lighweight but still ... I'm growing really fond of this distro :) apart from a couple of Q4OS tools is basically a Debian install with KDE as DE which is one of the things I like the most too.

I remember when downloading an mp3 4mb took 20 minutes and the worst part is someone picking up the phone right at 99% with no resumability o_O

I remember those times too and look at us now! Some people can download a 4GB file less than 10 mins! For me it'd take like 2 hours or so, my internet's speed isn't that fast; in a good day or from 2-3 a.m up to 9-10 a.m max speed is around 500-550kbps but most of the times is around 300-400kbps and even slower which is a pain if downloading big files :(

Hello,
Thank you for everyone who spent time for supporting me.
This is a very friendly community.

So I decide that I would choose LUBUNTU. ( and I'M ALSO GOING TO CHECK AT Q4OS )
AS a new comer I hope I will get enough support further.

Again thank you for every one.

And another question,
What is the different between i3wm and i3gaps.
I thought i3wm is a software that i can *customize my desktop's and window's look*.
What is i3gaps and what is the best software that i can do the above work.

Lubuntu will work yes.

Download Lubuntu and try it Live on your machine and see how it runs before you install it.

Is your machine a 32-bit or a 64-bit machine?
64 bit

if my memory serves me correctly i3-gaps is a derivative of i3wm. You want to get gaps as it will install i3. gaps give you gaps in between the windows. Looks much nicer

I installed Slackware years ago and loved it. I'm trying to install Debian right now and I'm on the edge of a mental breakdown as a result.

i3-gaps is a fork of i3wm as explained here https://github.com/Airblader/i3. i3WM is a windows manager and like most window managers you can customize it to your liking. What is a window manager? read here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/window_manager I like awesome-wm https://awesomewm.org/ mostly because it's keyboard dirven; I can use my system without much clicking but by using some key-combos. If you plan on using i3wm reading here https://i3wm.org/docs/ is a must. You might want to read here too https://www.ubuntupit.com/best-20-linux-window-managers-a-comprehensive-list-for-linux-users/

I'm so accustomed to i3 now that I don't really care what distro I am using because it looks the same. But I have to say AUR makes everything much easier but Arch breaks too often. My Arch broke and I have to reinstall it again and reconfigure everything.
