How about deepin environment desktop

I've been using deepin OS. Now it's about to be upgraded to the latest version 23! Has anyone else used this distro and desktop environment?

What do you think of this desktop environment。

It looks a lot like Windows 11.

Sorry but I really dislike "modern" looks and feel of desktops, it's like cancer, when one OS implements it most others follow it like a religion.

And it also looks like Mac because of icons in the centre of task manager.

I was referring to UI design which I dislike so much.
If I'm to be asked designs should be patented or licensed just like software or trademarks even though this is practically impossible.

But M$ is so desperate to attract new users, instead of inventing their own new desktop design (or keeping old one) they stole Mac's design, and since designs are not subject to Copyrights or anything similar this new fashion now spreads like cancer because it's considered "modern".

Just how many Ubuntu flavors are there going to be?
Everybody knows one cannot please everyone, seems like canonical does not know that.

I don't know how much they spend but if they put all this effort into one distro, that one would IMO come out better than all flavors combined.

People are keen to discuss which distro is more stable and has better compatibility, and which desktop environment is better to use
