How come no one has done a full on steampunk theme yet?
The title says it all
BTW not my thing just wondered if it is to difficult

I dunno, I find it quite interesting ... the jury is out for their verdict :)... I had not seen it before - is it confined to KDE?

(Wizard appears in a puff of smoke, quickly thumbs through his Book of Spells to look for Steampunk... damn' not there, Googles instead).

I have only 3 KDEs on board at the moment, Maui 2, Freespire, and Netrunner 17.10 (Debian-based) ... I may give it a try in the next few weeks, and see how it looks?

And welcome to linux.org, @Grinkle :p

I think I would expect app borders to be copper and brass pipe
lots of unnecessary stuff, interesting icons
customized icons in the browser, office suite etc
early versions of ultimate (linux) were very er! interesting

I've seen a lot of cool steampunk wallpaper while browsing around, but there must not be enough interest to go with a full on theme, at least in the Linux world. But artistic interpretation is a funny thing anyway... even if some folks produced it, it might not suit your tastes. Best to create your own, if you have the ambition! :D

Cheers

Is that Ultimate Edition, @Grinkle ? I have 5.1, but it is "in retirement" currently, that is, I have a Timeshift snapshot of it, but it is not on my Toshiba Satellite currently.
