How did thread disappear?

There was a thread started by somebody in "Laptops / Netbooks" recently.
Beside OP, 3 replies were from me and 1 from @Brickwizard

No staff was online at that time and the thread disappeared,
I'm wondering how is that possible?

Can OP delete his thread together with replies?

The OP can edit or delete their post, and as far as I am aware [i have seen it before] the replies go as well]

That's strange because the thread is now back:

AH in that case there have been more post by the OP, if he was editing any of them that may explain why it temporally disappeared.

It must have been a glitch. I approved that thread at the first post before I signed off for my evening in Oz last night my time.

Can't account for that, my friend.

A Member can delete their own thread only when theirs is the only post in it.

Once there is a reply (other than a second consecutive post by them) they cannot delete the thread. They can delete their own posts but the thread remains.

They cannot delete another Member's post.
