How do I get my Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner installed in to Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.1 64b

I had this scanner installed on my Linux Mint Cinnamon 19.3 64b. But the system crashed so I am building a new PC. This one is Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.1 64b, I have been to the Epson site, but that gets me no where. I did email them my concerns, but not very hopeful I will get a reply.

So my search leads me here.

I could really use some help in this matter, I hate to go out and drop another unplanned hundreds of dollars more...

Does Mint have xsane in it's repo?

It has both Sane [use by my Epsom] and x sane

Mint 19.3 is no longer supported. Support ended in 2023. I'd start with upgrading to a supported distro of your choosing as the repos might even be offline at this point.
