I saw this video below today about a DNS middleman and I want to use it on my Debian Cinnamon, but they don't have a guide for Linux on their website (only for Windows and MAC). I use USB dongle router for wireless broadband connection.
Any help will be appreciated

It looks like all you need to do is change your DNS settings. There's a bunch of ways to do that.

Like so:

You'd put a comma between 'em, assuming they have more than one.

Then, there are also other DNS servers you can use, from Cloudflair to Google.

I have added the IP of the DNS where you saying:

And it added it among some other DNS IPs that I have not set myself and I don't know where those settings are:

Thanks for the help

There's often a pair of 'em, like nameservers. One is a fallback.

Like, Google's are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (i'm pretty sure), which CF's is just 1.1.1.1.

If there are two, separate 'em with a comma. 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4 for example.

Also, wait... It's still showing you as using your ISP's servers - as well as the other one.

Maybe change it here:

Undo automatic and enter the IP address there.

Where is this dialogue, is it in Cinnamon? I can't find it

Yeah, that's Cinnamon... Maybe a slightly older version.

Left click on your networking icon in the system tray and pick "Network Connections Settings".

Then it's in the gear icon. Lemme make you another screenshot.

The computer needs restart, today I restarted it and the Quad9 DNS was in place

To check from the terminal:

Code:
$  cat /etc/resolv.conf

# Generated by NetworkManager
nameserver 9.9.9.9
nameserver 149.112.112.112

To check from the brawser:
https://on.quad9.net
If you're using Quad9, you'll see a "YES" answer, or "NO" if not using Quad9.

Thank you all for the help
