Hi folks! As the title says, I have a 2018 15 series HP Laptop with a built in touchscreen.
I'm currently running Kubuntu 22.10.
The touchscreen bugs out quite frequently when the laptop is moved, bumped, etc.
I've made an attempt with using to no avail.
xinput disable (ID)
I've attempted to do a UDEV script, however I'm unsure as to whether I properly did that. I don't have the code any longer to show unfortunately.
Story goes, I still need to get this touchscreen disabled otherwise I'm afraid this laptop is going to bug out one too many times and short my screen.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. I've even got a VM set up to attempt any environment changes before I actually apply it to my system.
