Recently I did dual boot, with the Windows 7 on one of the partitions and the Lubuntu 18.10.
On Windows I use the usb adapter/receiver wifi and I have no issues about that. But I can't use internet using lubuntu, anyone can help me?

What exact usb/adapter do you have?

If your not sure; what's the output of lsusb?

If I'm not mistaken you may have to install a driver for the usb adapter.

Im not sure about that, so:

Code:
~$ lsusb

"If I'm not mistaken you may have to install a driver for the usb adapter."

I got it, I'll try it.

Another thing to consider: Your lshw and lspci reports both show an internal wireless adapter, although lshw says it is "DISABLED." Do you know if this wireless is broken? "Disabled" does not necessarily mean that it is broken.

Sony Vaio laptops often had a physical switch to turn the WiFi on and off... it may be that if you turn this switch ON that Lubuntu will use it more easily. Also, sometimes besides a physical switch, you might have a "soft switch"... using the Fn key and one of the F-keys to toggle the WiFi on and off.

Good luck!

Im trying install the driver, but is not easy for me. Because the archives are all in .exe format, so Im trying to use Wine, but isn't easy neither to install that without internet conection...

YOu can't use .exe files for drivers on Linux. You need Linux drivers. Above Atanere brings up a very good point. Many laptops, my peronal one (Fn + PrtScr) and my work (dedicated button) one, both have buttons to turn off the built in wifi. So it may not require driver installation, it may just need to be turned on.

hi! yes, my Vaio have a physical switch to turn the wifi on and off, but this switch don't work... and my laptop don't have a short cut key to turn on and off Wifi, like using Fn + (other key)

oh i got it, I will try to survey Linux drivers... Thanks.

The lsusb output above shows your wireless dongle: RT5370 Wireless Adapter.

Here's a couple of links that might help.

First of all, thank you to search this posts for me. Thanks a lot! I downloaded the correct driver for my adapter (linux version) and I followed all steps, but unfortunately some commands didn't work:

Code:
sudo apt-get install linux-firmware-nonfree
sudo rmmod rt5572sta
sudo modprobe rt2800usb

so I still have no conection...

Have you tried another Distro....eg Linux Mint....?....does it have to be Lubuntu ?
