G'day @Dalgorix and welcome to linux.org :)

I likely can't help you myself, but what OS are you using?

Also give us the output of

Code:
inxi -Fxz

Good luck

BTW - command xrandr may be of use

Hi @wizardfromoz ,
I use Parrot Os, but most of the time is use praticly all of my OS on live USB (to keep some security) and that do the same thing on all..

'trought the time I install "inxi" my external monitor show my desktop screen, but like the old tv when you get a low signal.

sorry I'm not good in english.
Xandr command get:

I'm assuming the additional monitor is the one with 1440x900 as resolution. And you connected it with a DVI cable. Or I guess more precise DVI-I which can transport an analog VGA signal (like its written instead of DVI-I). Therefore its not a digital signal and with higher resolution it will become blurry*. It should be adjustable in the driver - but honestly I have no idea how. ... or may be, are you sure its a DVI cable and not VGA?

The different DVI (left) and VGA (right) cables looks as following ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface / https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VGA_connector ):
181px-DVI_Connector_Types.svg.png
300px-DE15_Connector_Pinout.svg.png

If its the right one, the vga, take also a closer look on the monitor side if there is a DVI or HDMI Connection. For the Laptop it would seem than that there's only a digital HDMI left - but HDMI to DVI is no problem and doesnt even come at much higher price than HDMI-HDMI

Also here are some drivers (no direct relation to the rest of my answer but found thee anyway..)
Latest AMD closed driver .
https://www.amd.com/en/support/grap...on-hd-4000-series/ati-mobility-radeon-hd-4225

Debian Driver may be somewhat newer... with parrot and apt the pakage should be the same (just not "atigpu witch is for even older cards
xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu

Or just if this details are of interesest: You want 1440 x 900 x 60 times per second or in other words the radeon has to convert 77760000 Pixel / second (77,75Mhz RAMDAC is needed) from its memory to an analog VGA signal. ... ok for more details id need to know the exact product type like G61-xxx (some digits)
