I would like to add a printer, but I am facing a problem, please help me!

The printer is a Canon Pixma G2420 and I have an Ubuntu 20.04 LTS system that knows it's driver, and the system also recognized that it is G2020, but it is G2420, and it also recognized two printers, but I have one so I can't print and I don't know the reason for that, anyone with an idea or solution can answer me.

BTB.. uninstall the current driver set and switch off [before re-boot connect printer with the USB cable and switch it on ] then boot up, this will do a clean install hopefully it will work

one of my Mint [based on Ubuntu] boxes keeps throwing up multiple divers for my wireless HP printer, [but i think that is because one of my neighbors has the office version of my printer and my box can see it]
