Context:
Last few years, I've been interested in computer science, developing languages etc.. After getting more knowledge on it, I got introduced to ethical hacking, and I liked it.
Main Problem:
After trying several ways to learn ethical hacking (free courses, PDF files online etc..) I still can't get any knowledge on ethical hacking. I know that results won't show in the first years, but I had the feeling of not learning things. So I came here looking for professionals to redirect me to good courses, and maybe give me some tips.

Thanks.

Are you Linux experienced and terminal competent, if not you could install any of the more user-friendly pen-testing distributions such as Parrotsec or you could do a paid for course such as that from Hack the box

I think the best skill sets for becoming a proficient security analyst is that it is most important to become really proficient at the basics. For example I spent a lot of time staring at packet captures in my career. To become good at it was to understand the finer details of various protocols (routed, routing), network services... etc. Experience also helps one understand what tools to use and where the problem is in the OSI model. End of the day doesn't really matter whether you are debugging code, communication issues or detecting an attack. You need to know what normal looks like. It all comes with experience and practice.
