Is there any way to configure rsyslog to write encrypted files?

I have a webapp that processes some private information for people. Specifically, it includes some health information that needs to be secured according to HIPAA. I also have log files that might contain some usernames. We use this for support so I'd like to keep it. We also have to archive it for several years. Do you have any tips on securing this log information? I'm thinking about configuring TLS for transfer to our archive server. I can't store it in plaintext though. Is there any way to configure rsyslog to write encrypted files?

Cool yeah I setup TLS encryption for rsyslog. I think I'm going to try dm-crypt so the actual log files themselves are secure too.
