Hello, I'm a complete noob when it comes to linux, I just installed pop! os for the first time yesterday, and I'm running into issues setting up my wireless wifi adapter.
I had finally seemed to be getting somewhere when I ran into this issue: the terminal is asking for my password; however, when I write in my computer password, this happens:

Are they asking for a different password? I know I entered my computer password correctly.

Any help is appreciated.

Can you open a terminal and share the output of the following.
Code:
lspci -nn | grep -i net
uname -r
What version of PopOS are you running and where did you download that driver you are trying to install?

What good is this when I'm still not getting a reset email. Nearly three days now, putting in my username and still nothing. Bloody hopeless.
You should start your own thread and ask a question that might help solve your problem instead of tacking an angry comment onto someone else's old thread. o_O
