Kernel compilation

Hey,

Does anyone here has some experience with kernel compilation?
I have a cubieboard and need to do some driver modification to embed it, but I don't know how to properly compile a kernel.

Guess I need some help...xD

Compiling a kernel isn't the hard part. The hard part is picking all the correct options...

its helping me, although I don't have the experience to notice some errors...
