There are many ways, some better than others. I prefer to use systemd for this.

Glad to help. Resuming my activity in these forums (I wasn't a member of this specific one in the past) has been a pretty great way of passing the time during the pandemic. It had been four or five years since I last did this sort of stuff, so it was good to resume trying to help.

I can't code worth a damn, so I can at least pass on some of the things I've learned and, in that way, help support the kernel I use and most enjoy.
