I was using Windows and i miss this file manager feature when you was able to group files by type and sort it by date

I use PCManFM (although the same principals probably apply to other File Managers) I go PCManFM>View>Sort Files...

Then the options are Name, Modification Time, Size, File Type and Extension,

Read my question carefully, PCmanFM does not both sort and group, it can do one thing

I`m looking for something like this

If you sort by File Type it will group e.g. all the ISOs will appear together, all of the PDFs will apear together etc.

Yes, and you can`t read, it sort or group not both. i uploaded screenshot

Don`t mean to be rude, i just read before i answer and expect the same thing.
I clearly showed what i`m talking about on screenshot and described it and only answer i`m getting again and again is how to `sort` or how to `group`, every file manager have that options and i know it, but only Windows file manager have both at the same time so you don`t need to change between `sort by file type` and `sort by date` alternately

May want to try GNOME Commander. It works the same way as Norton Commander did.
