Late to the party here - I got what i consider to be a bit of a better quality conversion for an epub by:

Converting the rtf in the original post into HTML using ted:

- Ted --saveto Linux-Kernel-The-Series.rtf t.html

And then converting that to an epub with pandoc:

- pandoc t.html -o linux-kernel-serios.epub

I've uploaded the file here, it is a bit easier on the eyes as it preserves more of the formatting, and has a bit of a better flow to it thanks to pandoc's epub support.

Feel free to use it and I hope you enjoy it!

Is the source of this lecture series stored in a github repo anywhere? If not, may I suggest that? I wonder if we could convert it to markdown without too much effort.
