I have just downloaded Linux Lite onto my son's computer. The loading screen, login screen, and even the home screen for a second (when closing) looks fine. However, the home screen (desktop image) is skewed with every few lines of the image being shifted to the right (I'm not able to decipher most of what is being displayed). It is a fresh download from today, and I have attempted to do a reinstall. I cannot reinstall though because it will not boot from USB, even when I select it as an option on startup.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

1) Some information about your son's computer might help. Does it have a MAKE and MODEL? Or, can you give us the basic specs? Does it have a graphics card e.g Nvidia or AMD? Look here: https://linuxliteos.com/manual/hardware.html#graphics

What happens? What do you see? Have you changed the BIOS? Does the USB appear in the Boot Order?
