Hi guys. I just got here and wanted to say hello.
I've been trying Linuxes since about 2010 I think.
Really, I lost track.

I was a genuine distro hopper and found a nice educational hobby of buying old computers and putting Linux on them.
These days I don't do that as much, but instead have settled into Manjaro XFCE/MATE Linux.
I'm feeling pretty good here as it really hasn't crashed and seems stable after several system updates.

I like to compose electronic music, so I'm often think about and browsing about electronic music and audio.

But if anybody wants to talk about MATE or XFCE or Manjaro, I'll gladly oblige.
Thanks for running a nice looking site with helpful genuine people.

Sincerely,
909mjolnir

A Thor fan? Welcome @909mjolnir from DownUnder ;)

I have been using Manjaro for 10 years now, and enjoy it, but if you read one of the links from my signature, you'll see I use a whole lot of other distros as well.

Hope you enjoy your time here, and if you have questions or thoughts on Manjaro, head to Distribution Specific - Arch & Derivatives.

Friday here in Oz, so

Avagudweegend, all

Hello @909mjolnir
Welcome to the Linux.org forum, enjoy the journey! :)

welcome to the forums!

sincerest good thanks. n greetings.
nice to see other Manjaro users too.

i indeed got my nickname from thinking about Thor's hammer in the movies.
i liked how the MJOLNIR had a life of it's own, much like Doctor Strange's cape,
so i figured that'd be a good nickname.

and the 909 is a kind of drum machine with powerful kick drum sounds.
when i hear hard strong thumps i think of hammers. so it's like that.
