Meaning active-active in gpfs, gfs2, and glusterfs

Hi.

I know that "in the case of gpfs, active-active" means that you can read / write and make changes to the same file on more than two node at the same time. (ex. oracle rac, concurrent volume gorup)

What does it mean to be active-active for 2 nodes in gfs2 or glusterfs?
