Necromancers

I'm noticing a lot of necromancy lately... But there's this Trending (which seems to have replaced Latest Posts on the main page) and Suggested (which I never recall seeing) and both have really old topics. Is this intended behaviour (i.e. hits/whatever without a cap on ages)? One thread, was last updated 2020 and only has two pages: https://linux.org/threads/information-about-snap-packages.30592/page-2
