No Sound 'Dummy Output'

I have installed Ubuntu 22.04 latest update on my new D15 Intel i5 Matebook with Dual Boot

I made no alteration to the bios/uefi settings and Tte installation boots fine but on checking the Sound Settings I get no response from Speakers or Microphone and the device only gives Dummy Output for speakers and nothing under Input for microphone.

On Windows I left the Speakers, Mic and Bluetooth switched on.

The PCI lists includes "Multimedia audio controller Intel Corporation Tiger Lake-LP Smart Sound Technology Audio Controller (rev 20)"

Also 'firmware-sof-signed' is installed and up to date. I do get the speaker icon in the top bar.


Can anyone help or advise a solution?
