I am setting up some laptops for public use and want to freeze them in a specific state. When trying to install Ofris and adding the PPA I got the message that it doesn't support focal. Any suggestions or alternatives? I am running Mint MATE 20.1.

Here are all the steps I have done.

Code:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tldm217/tahutek.net

and the result was

Code:
Cannot add PPA: '' This PPA does not support focal''.

That is as far as I was able to get.

Looks like only outdated Ubuntu version are supported when you go to the Gofris ppa page, so you can try compiling the source but looks like that hasn't been update in over 10 years either so that might not work either.

Yep that is all I am finding as well. I was hoping that someone had come up with another alternative. I really want to run Linux on these rather than Windows. I am open to any and all other suggestions.

I have read through that and they are all so old I am not confident any of those options will be be any more up to date than Ofris.
