Hi all,

I am trying to run a game on Manjaro with Steam but run into an OpenGL error. There seems to be a fix for it which requires patching Proton/Wine/. I've followed the instructions here but nothing seemed to happen - it run the compiler, seemed to come to an end (but said it couldn't find the dvxk stuff). However, I can't actually find where it created the folder, or how I can get Steam to use it.

Is there another way of doing this? This is the patch incidentally.

Thanks for the help!

okay, I'm kind of lost isn't the OpenGL part of its own packet is if it's a GL error then shouldn't that be with the openGL and not the proton?? also please add a Log file since it can be many things also is it all games or only one game or is it when you open steam and is it native steam or steam in wine and how did you install steam.

Hi kiba, it's just this game, and the issue is with proton - something to do with alpha pixels. Someone managed to patch it for me and it's working fine now - better than windows infact!

you never said what game it was.
