I've never seen the point in it.However, does ReactOS suck? Food for thought.
When you can run GNU/Linux, *BSD or any other *nix, why bother with a windows clone...?

You're thinking of a different OS. ReactOS is a windows clone, written completely from scratch and is not any type of UNIX.
Perhaps you're thinking of Zorin or one of the earlier efforts to achieve the same thing?
You may have been misinformed by someone else who was in turn misinformed...
I think the less said about ReactOS the better...
Zorin and the like are what I would call "misconceived" because they come from the angle of "look kids it can be just like windows!".
I'm an arch user, so naturally I don't like the concept, as the concept of my main OS it the exact opposite, honestly, I thought no one really used pinguy, the whole concept is flawed in my mind, being overly bloated just for the sake of ease? Seems pretty windows to me, but if its what you want to use, thats totally up to you, nothing wrong with it, I just don't like it.Anybody use PinguyOS? I really like it, it comes with a lot of stuff by default that I otherwise have to download (like DVD movie support) and it's definitely among my favorite Linux distros.
What do you think of it?
