Printer Brands Supported by Linux

What brand of printers operate well with Linux?
I have a HP Printer scanner
Or are there any threads on this site relating to this questions

The Linux Hardware forum is about the most appropriate category. There is no special forum for printers.

I find HP to be about the best for compatibility with Linux, but there is some support for Epson and Brother also, and maybe others as well. But printers, like any hardware, may not work properly if you buy the very latest-greatest products (unless the manufacturer specifically provides Linux support/drivers). This is a never ending problem. If a new hardware device does not provide Linux support, then it takes time before the Linux community can provide alternate solutions.
