I am running Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS Linux 5.16.17-sun50iw6 on the Orange Pi 3 LTS SBC with two wireless interfaces. The internal wlan0 is configured as an Access Point. The second one (USB WiFI) connects to the local WiFi for Internet access. It worked fine as a router for some time. Then I began receiving the following messages every time a wifi client connects to the AP:

[ 26.878677] protocol 000 is buggy, dev wlan0

The client can still connect and receive the IP address, but the router does not route anymore.

Please HELP.

This would be better under Linux Networking, I am moving it there.

Welcome to linux.org and good luck with your inquiry.

If it worked, then didn't, one suspects a change is involved. What changed between the two states? Checking the logs would be the first port of call, particularly inspecting what occurred at the time of the change in behaviour. If you have them, there are systemd logs accessed through journalctl, and logs in the /var/log directory like syslog, kern.log, messages etc.
