We have two generic users say dbuser and osuser used for database operations (installation and maintenance) and running cron jobs from Linux respectively. Apart from that, we have named users. Currently for database operations and os operations named user also use (login to)generic dbuser and osuser accounts which is not good practice as we anot able to maintain proper audit log.
Is there any way through which:
1. I can force named user to log into their account first and then use a generic account in order to maintain a proper audit log
2. user can still able to edit cronjobs listed for generic dbuser and osuser account

TIA
Akshay

G'day Akshay and welcome to linux.org :)

Getting Started is for people looking to use Linux for the first time, or choose a Linux.

Right-click Forums in either of the named spots above your Thread title and take a look around and see where this belongs, I can move this there.

Also be prepared to provide the name of your Linux Distro and other information to whomever helps.

Cheers
