I am really confused as to (after looking at a few threads), which Android software I need for my system to access video and images on my phone. I believe I tried to DL something several weeks ago, and got nothing-or probably the wrong link. My phone is android-but not "high-end" smart phone. I'm only interested in something basic where my computer and phone can talk to each other. And if they want to say bad things about me while I'm sleeping, that's fine too. Just as long as they con be on same page so I can get images and video off the phone. The model says it's a TW102-Version11 if that makes any sense. My system is Cinnamon. Thanks.

You don't need any software...plug in the cable that came with your phone in to the computer.

On your phone you'll see Deny.....Allow. Double tap Allow and on your computer you'll see...

This is my phone's internal storage and my 64GB SD card...I can have a SD card up to 1TB.
If I want to put music...pics...videos or ring tones...I just create a folder on the SD card and go from there...easy.

Not one I recognise as a phone, TW102-v11 is an OS based on Android 11 and was used in mobile tablets and phones, Now there was an update [last year I seem to remember] but it is different for each make of phone/tablet,
now most phones can connect to Linux with the apportion cable, it will normally be recognised bu Linux as a mass storage device [or USB storage device] by opening the appropriate file, you should be able to drag and drop between devices

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, but been having hard time on this end. I found cord that charges this phone, and plugged it in to box. At first it did not register. First thought was I was going to get frustrated because it won't work. So I had to refresh phone. Nothing. So then I had to close all my open files I'm working with and did refresh to computer. It made that tome indicating that something happened. But could not see it registered that phone was connected. So I unplugged it and tried it again. I got some dis-combubulated file name with lots of numbers and letters on file list. I had to fish around but sure enough I found folder that stored images. It was not like your above example-which confused me a little. I just basically clicked on stuff to see what happened and finally saw folders that I did not see last time I tried to access files on phone. I feel much better now. I need a glass of wine. Thank you.
