Hello, I am pretty new to linux, so I don't know much, but I just set up my first SFTP server a few days ago on a raspberry pi. I notice that when I connect to the server, it lists a ton of files that I don't need, or that I don't want people to be able to access. I was wondering if there was a way to make only certain people be allowed to see certain files, (and do any thing with them) and to block other users from even knowing they exist. Thanks in advance.

G'day @MultiverseMeep - sounds like a DC or Marvel fan. Welcome to linux.org :)

(Wizard appears in a puff of smoke, trying to look as ripped as Thor, fails dismally)

I've slightly modified your Thread Title in order for it to draw more attention.

I haven't the knowledge (yet) to help but we have had a few Pi users swing by in recent weeks, and I am hoping one of them will be able to assist.

Cheers and good luck

I am planning to have it be a cloud server for multiple people, but I don't want people to be able to edit other's files, only their own.
