So, with the current propensity to make (almost) everything "gender neutral" or "gender-equal", when will someone say, "Linux perpetuates patriarchy and male dominance!"?

After all, Linux has "man pages". (The fact that this is an abbreviation of "manual" is irrelevant. Look what happened in the US House of (supposed) Representatives; someone conducting a prayer recently ended it with "Amen and Awomen".)

And, Tux is a male.

I try to stay away as much as I can from this extreme political correctness now days aka the woke movement, anything extreme has a negative impact on society.

i think they have partly addressed that with a gender neutral approach , so for instance i can do : bash-5.0$ info apropos : ^ )

I have 'woman' aliased to 'man', just to amuse the missus. It has had that alias for quite a while now and I sometimes use it and chuckle - because I am easily amused.
