I have absolutley ZERO experience with SBC, but have also found them interesting, just never had a need to use one.
Well hopefully I have a project which I can start to learn how SBC work and such.
What I am looking for is the ability to have a portable, i.e. battery pack powered device, which is pocket size and the purpose of which would be to control a scoreboard in OBS.
Ideally the device would be able to have its own screen with a running total of the score.
Currently I use Touch Portal on android to run a hotkey with a scoreboard addon in OBS. Ideally I'm looking to have a dedicated device which is not my phone.
So is it possible to have a SBC have about 6 buttons connected to it, which would update the score on a screen attached to the SBC (so I knew I was doing it right) and also transmit that data via WIFI to a laptop to run the same hotkey. Or is it possible a different method.
Wifi is a must as I might be 40-60ft away from the laptop, so bluetooth wouldnt be viable.
Which if any SBC might work for this purpose. Any and all help appriciated, and any step by step guides, instructions needed. A lot to ask I know.
