Simple distro to boot to word processor

Hi, I'm looking to setup an old HP Pavilion DM1 4206AU Laptop to start up to a word processor at boot for kids to use in a school.
Something quick booting and with minimal other apps. Must install to the internal hard disk. Any ideas?

You'll probably want some sort of lightweight distro for this purpose. There are many of them, too many in fact to list. So, try this URL:

Many of those are installed to the internal HDD. Of those, all of them will be customized to open a word processor by default, though smart kids may find ways around that. You can also not give them admin rights and remove software that isn't needed.
