Hello
I found this file under C: with no pathway in Win 8.1.
I use Zorin in a pen drive but don't need it if i can remove this 767 MB file.
Will removing it do any harm to the system or the other files?
Because I cannot create a link I am trying to send it to you in 2 pieces slako and save2fs.
Thank you
Peter

Let me get this straight. You are asking about a file you found in Win 8.1 on a forum devoted to GNU/Linux issues?

It sounds as though you have had Slacko Puppy, a version of Puppy Linux.

Slacko (and Puppy) run within RAM and any Save or Backup will be made to the Hard Drive.

If you don't have anything useful saved from Slacko you should be alright to delete the files.

...Perhaps @Darren Hale has something to say?

Thank you all for your information. I will keep the file renamed for a week the remove it if all is OK. I was also using a Zorin via pen drive with persistence so I can assume that is also in my machine.
Is there a way to find that file also so I can do the same.

Normally when you use a USB stick with persistence, the persistence is on the USB stick and not on the Hard Drive.

If you have something like GParted you should be able to look at the Partitions on the USB stick. There should be a Partition for the Persistence...
