I'm unable to find anything specific about this giant update, but it's huge. I've found people referencing it over the past couple of days, but nobody has said why it's such a large upgrade at once. My Tumbleweed VM is updating now, but I expect no problems with it. Tumbleweed is amazingly solid for a rolling release.

Yeah, it was huge. It went off without a hitch. The change log doesn't seem to tell us why it was such a large upgrade. IIRC, this isn't the first time Tumbleweed has done this.
