Splintered Thread from___Drive Failure Imminent_"Last Option"

This from the same link about the "special key" that only works with Wndows.

I see this message every time I try to install Linux on Last Option, I don't think I saw it when I installed it on the other Lenovo.

I need to figure out how to use the red arrows and boxes in what ever software you use to do that. It would make things a lot easier to point out in this Boot repair text document I'm looking at.

That's done using a screenshot app known as Shutter. but to install it on a Live USB may not be worth it.

Can you do something, please?

Open a Terminal and enter the following

Code:
sudo gdisk /dev/sdb

If it works, just let us know what it says, don't try using any other commands with it, for now.

You may get an output that resembles this

It looks exactly like that

I have some idea where you might be going with this!

Me so proud!!
But me will feel not so proud if Me totally wrong!

Add a Signing Key to the UEFI Firmware: Some Linux distributions may sign their boot loaders with their own key, which you can add to your UEFI firmware. This doesn't seem to be a common at the moment.

OK, same again, and when you get the command ? for help part, type in p for print, and a screenshot

Edited that should be ? for help

Now how many ADHD kids does it take to install a distro??

Look at this BS....

Linux distributions can pay a one-time fee of $99 to access the Microsoft Sysdev portal, where they can apply to have their boot loaders signed.

OK, this time, type in

n

for new partition

if that puts out output, there should be a line a couple down starting

Last sector

and at the end

{+-}size{KMGTP}:

next to the : put

+100G

and press Enter
