Temtem on a Linux Laptop

Hey, I love to play the new Temtem game. Now I would like to change my OS to Linux since we learn a lot about Linux in my school.
So my question is, will Temtem work on Linux? I've not found any good information about this. And very important question: Which Linux should I choose?
Is Ubuntu a good choice? Or better Gnome?

My recommendation for gaming is Arch and Garuda make it easy to make sure all you need for gaming is right there at your hand I use Garuda Xfce and you can check here if the game work on Linux with steam.
