Back in my day, we didn't care about what some fancy-pants developer's favorite Linux distribution and Desktop Environment was. We just used what worked and got the job done. But if you must know, Linus Torvalds has been known to favor the Fedora distribution and the GNOME Desktop Environment, although he's been known to switch it up from time to time. Now get off my lawn!

I have another question. I post #6 above, you replied in the style of an auctioneer. But in post #8 you reverted to the style of a pirate, used earlier in this thread, but I did not ask you to change styles from the auctioneer to the pirate. Can you explain why you changed styles by yourself? And can we expect you to randomly change styles without being instructed to change them?
