Anyhow, there are all sorts of ways to rerun the previous terminal command. This is one way of doing so, and a way that allows for some modifications to the command, such as adding 'sudo' when you forgot it in the previous command.
Long-term users are more likely to be familiar with this. New users are far less likely to be aware of this.
