There's BSD. There's Linux. The two are not the same. MacOS is related to the BSD family, not the Linux family. Your name indicates that you think you're a Linux nerd? If so, you might want to get the basics correct.

i have using linux on a vm but this is my dads computer so i dont really use linux that mutch
