I want to install ubuntu but latest version is 18.04 LTS, what is the system requirement for this. I have 1gb ram and 32 bit system, core duo 2 processor. Is this okay?

Did you try Googling Ubuntu 18.04 LTS System Requirements ?
2GHz dual core processor (or better) 2GB RAM. 25GB of free hard drive space. DVD drive or USB port for install.(Aug 1, 2019 )

Take a long, slow look at Distrowatch
The link above is for Linux Lite ......you can "burn" the iso file to a thumb drive, boot your pc to that thumb drive (usb ) and try that os (operating system) out to see if it runs ok on your pc. if it doesnt work well, you can just download another OS and try it.

It is actually fairly straightforward.
Tell me what OS is in your pc now.
