You may have heard of screens turning off when removed from AC power, but have you heard of screens turning off when plugged in to AC power. I can't find help anywhere, if anyone even knows where to look that'd be nice.

great news, that worked, terrible news, set it to black and lost the sliderFirst thing I'd check is my power options settings for Display brightness when plugged into AC and see what level they are set at.
I'm sure there is a Display brightness setting control level for plugged into AC power.
