Can anybody please tell me about any software which can make my android phone a gamepad for linux mint, like droidjoy is available on windows only. Please help.

There is Controlloid.
However I am afraid that I cannot be of any more assitance other than stating the fact that it... exists. I suggest you try it and poke around the app's functionality. The risk of a sudden, violent explosion of your PC should be negligible!
